The Icelandic Ash Cloud first anniversary caused me to dig out some photography to share with you. 

This time last year I was just back from a well-timed visit to Iceland, fresh from scooping up particles spewed out by Eyjafjallajokull that some enterprising souvenir shops in Reykjavik were actually selling for a princely sum.

The Icelandic volcano might have been a terrible inconvenience but the photos allow us to gasp in awe at the undeniable power of nature
